Questions
Will it slow the site down?
No. Ratings are scored in your browser over data the explorer already loads — the whole edition re-ranks in about a millisecond.
Which stats can I use?
Every rating on the card (contact, power and reaction by hand, pitching, fielding, running), plus overall, age, price, profit, and details like position, handedness, team and series.
How do bonuses for things like handedness work?
Add a rule: if Bats is S, multiply by 1.1. In a formula that’s if(batHand == "S", 1.1, 1). You can combine conditions with and, or and not.
What about stats some editions don’t have?
A missing stat is skipped by the builder’s weighted average, so the same rating works on MLB 26 and older editions.
Can I share a rating?
Yes. Publish it and it gets its own page on the community board, where anyone can see its top cards and copy it.
What happens if Premium ends?
Nothing is deleted. Every rating you saved keeps working — you just can’t save new ones past the free limit of one until you come back.
